Pricing and Billing Disclosures
Carro is in active development. This page explains what retailers and shoppers should expect before any paid plan, subscription, trial, or transaction is charged.

Current public pricing status
Carro is not currently advertising a fixed self-serve paid subscription price on this public site. If Carro offers a paid retailer plan, free trial, renewal subscription, or custom commercial agreement, the plan-specific checkout, order form, or written agreement should disclose the actual price and billing terms before the retailer is charged.
1. Retailer platform fees
Retailers should not rely on generic marketing phrases such as "start free," "free trial," or "cancel anytime" unless the applicable signup, order, or billing screen also shows the specific commercial terms for that offer.
- Price and currency for the plan or custom agreement.
- Billing frequency, such as monthly, annual, usage-based, or one-time.
- Whether a free trial applies, how long it lasts, whether a payment method is required, and when charges begin after the trial.
- Renewal behavior, renewal date, and whether the subscription renews automatically.
- How to cancel, when cancellation takes effect, and whether cancellation stops future renewal charges only.
- Included features, usage limits, store/location limits, employee limits, transaction limits, support levels, and any add-on charges.
- Taxes, payment-processing fees, implementation fees, setup fees, or other charges that may apply.
2. Shopper payment disclosures
Shoppers buy products from the participating retailer, not from Carro as the merchant of record unless a checkout screen states otherwise. Before payment, the checkout flow should show the product name, quantity, price, retailer, payment method, and links to Carro's Terms and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Taxes, store-level fees, final-sale rules, return windows, and refund decisions are generally set by the retailer and should be disclosed by the retailer where required by law.
3. Trials and cancellation language
If Carro offers a free trial in a specific campaign or sales flow, that flow should state whether a card is required, the trial length, what happens when the trial ends, and how to cancel before conversion. If no paid plan has been selected and no payment method has been collected, no subscription charge should be made.
If a paid subscription is active, cancellation instructions should be available in the account, order form, or support process. Unless the applicable plan says otherwise, cancellation prevents future renewals and does not automatically refund past billing periods already used.
4. No hidden or pre-checked upgrades
Carro should avoid dark patterns in pricing and billing flows. Paid upgrades, add-ons, renewals, trials that convert to paid subscriptions, and materially different renewal terms should be clearly disclosed and should not be hidden in fine print or selected through confusing defaults.
5. Billing support
For pricing, billing, trial, cancellation, or subscription questions, contact founder@carro-app.com. Include your store name, account email, and any relevant invoice, order, or transaction details.
